La ceremonia de entrega de premios Oscar 2024 está programada para el 10 de marzo en el Dolby Theatre de Los Ángeles. La película «Oppenheimer«, dirigida por Christopher Nolan, cumplió con las expectativas al obtener 13 nominaciones durante el anuncio de los candidatos a los premios Oscar 2024. En un cercano segundo lugar, «Poor Things», dirigida por el cineasta griego Yorgos Lanthimos, recibió 11 nominaciones.
Cabe destacar la presencia de películas latinoamericanas con «La sociedad de la nieve» (Argentina), «La memoria infinita» y «El conde» (Chile).
